Christian Aid Week 9th - 15th May.

 

Last year we increased the collection considerably and would like to keep this up again this year. It was great that we extended to Clifford and also had some new streets in Boston Spa covered too. To keep the momentum going we still need more volunteers to do the house-to-house collections. SO ...... let me or Emily know if you would like to consider this. You get to know parts of the village, meet new people (and dogs!), have some fresh air and, above all, a feeling of satisfaction in helping such a worthwhile cause. It is quite easy and your 'round' can be tailored to your preference. Christian Aid is a great organisation, working world-wide in all sorts of ways. Look forward to hearing from you!

 

Christian Aid Coffee Morning - Sat May 15th. 10.00 to 12.00 noon: In the garden of 122 High Street (opposite Church). Tea, coffee, cake stall, books, home-grown musical entertainment. Children welcome to enjoy games in the garden. Offers of stalls and help welcome. Contact Terry and Emily Gaussen on 844345.
