Appeal Newsletter April 2007

The Fund has got off to a really good start, and April 2007 sees the Total at about £20,000. There may be + or – on  that, depending on
how much is eligible for a Tax refund   under Gift Aid–and which Tax Year the Gift Aid can be claimed. From 2008 the Gift Aid figure may be reduced by  the new rules in the March 2007 Budget.

Money paid  in full in 2007 will keep the higher rate– so beat the Chancellor and GIVE NOW !

Pipe Sponsorship is going really well – see Bob Dibben directly if you want to do this, or ask Liz Etherington or John Townend.

Please see the FUNDRAISING  TIMETABLE elsewhere on this site for the forthcoming events. The Organ Open  Afternoon promises to be great fun as well as being informative. If you’ve always fancied a play on a Church Organ come and have a go ! (May 5, 1-5pm).

Thanks to all who have given so generously so far–the Organ is part of our heritage past, present and future, and really is worthy of all the energy and effort being used to raise the Funds to restore it. The Organs Builders Report and the Architects impression of how it will look are to be posted to the site for your information.

More next month,
  Liz and John
